No jargon, no surprise subscription charges from Ace.

Who takes the monthly subscription?

Road Angel does. The ongoing tracking/monitoring agreement and recurring payments are set up directly with Road Angel, not Ace Auto Locks.

What's the difference between S5 and S7?

Both are professionally fitted Thatcham-approved trackers. S5 includes Automatic Driver Recognition fobs and is intended where an insurer specifies Category S5. S7 provides Category S7 tracking without those fobs.

Can I fit the S1 myself?

Yes. Road Angel describes the S1 as a plug-and-play OBD-II tracker. No professional wiring is required.

Are trackers the same as immobilisers?

No. A GPS tracker helps locate and monitor a vehicle. It does not necessarily stop the vehicle from starting. Ask us about separate immobiliser solutions.

Do I need an ongoing subscription?

Yes, for Road Angel's connected tracking or monitoring service. Check the minimum term, renewal conditions and the up-to-date rates with Road Angel before activation.
